Help my puppy is destroying my house!!

My daughter texted me a couple of days ago and said her dachshund Maddie had destroyed yet another pair of her glasses…..”I don’t know what to do” she said. so I got on to “google” (what would we do without google lol) and came across this website which gave lots of good pointers. Luckily my dachshund didn’t have to bad of chewing stage when she was young maybe cause I was able to be home with her more and she didn’t get as bored.

What in the world is Oil Pulling?

I know this has nothing to do with puppies lol but I had to share something in my life too 🙂 I started looking for home remedies for cavities because I hate going to the dentist….today was my 1st experience of oil pulling….it actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be…I am gonna see how it works as I have a small cavity and want to try this before handing over hard earned cash to the dentist….will keep u posted 🙂 Janie

Oh, people. I”m about to reveal something to you that has taken me months to work up the nerve to confess.

Are you ready for this? {I’m not sure I am, but here goes…}

I haven’t used toothpaste in over a year.

Oh my gosh. I can’t believe I just said that out loud. On the internet.

I guess now I have to explain myself, huh? click here

Too busy to work out? You need to read this

Too busy to work out? You need to read this:

We get it—sometimes even the best fitness intentions fail when you have a packed schedule, tons of errands, or a date you just can’t pass up. So you skip the gym to take care of other things…and you might end up feeling a little guilty later.

Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser, has pretty much the best attitude about this inevitable situation. Here’s what she wrote on herPeople.com blog this week:

“I know that when my week is incredibly crazed, I can’t beat myself up for only working out for 30 minutes a day but I can beat myself up if I choose not to work out at all or if I make bad nutritional choices.”

Let’s just consider that the busy girl’s fitness mantra. Here’s why Sweeney nails it on this point: Life can get crazy, but if you aim to make the best choices possible (like squeezing in a quick workout right when you wake up or making a fast, healthy breakfast rather than hitting the drive-thru) you’re still on the right track.
