Too busy to work out? You need to read this: 

We get it—sometimes even the best fitness intentions fail when you have a packed schedule, tons of errands, or a date you just can’t pass up. So you skip the gym to take care of other things…and you might end up feeling a little guilty later.

Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser, has pretty much the best attitude about this inevitable situation. Here’s what she wrote on herPeople.com blog this week:

“I know that when my week is incredibly crazed, I can’t beat myself up for only working out for 30 minutes a day but I can beat myself up if I choose not to work out at all or if I make bad nutritional choices.” 

Let’s just consider that the busy girl’s fitness mantra. Here’s why Sweeney nails it on this point: Life can get crazy, but if you aim to make the best choices possible (like squeezing in a quick workout right when you wake up or making a fast, healthy breakfast rather than hitting the drive-thru) you’re still on the right track.
